Hello!
I’m Doctor Zdenka Hauner-Manley, but you can call me Z. For the past 35 years, I’ve had my own practice on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. I learned all procedural aspects of general dentistry at Charles University in Prague and the New York University College of Dentistry.
I am thrilled to run a very friendly practice where my patients’ comfort and well-being are valued above all else. I take the utmost care with my patients and pride myself on making their experiences as painless as possible. From a young age, I knew that I wanted to be not only a doctor but a woman who is a doctor. I think I sensed that there were enough male doctors in the world. In the first grade – and I am fond of this memory – I created a hospital for my dolls and even a teddy bear or two, where I had beds, and bottles and water instead of an anesthetic. Even as a child I knew that I wanted to study medicine and help others.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading novels, watching foreign films and trying my hand at various styles of cooking. I also enthusiastically take any opportunity to travel.
